Konstantinos Zacharakis, holds a unique place in Phase’s extended circle; not just as a friend, a visual artist, or a musician, but as part of an ongoing inside joke regarding his family ties to Thanos. While it remains unclear whether he is Thanos’ nephew or a distant cousin, the running gag has long cemented him as the ‘official’ nephew.

His connection to the band, grew naturally as he spent time with mutual friends and took guitar lessons from one of Thanos’ then-bandmates. His own band, Reason Inside, briefly shared Phase‘s practice space at uni, and they opened for Phase on several occasions, further intertwining their musical paths.

When Konstantinos later moved to the UK to study Animation, his involvement with Phase deepened. Stepping in as a bassist for a few gigs, he proved his versatility and reliability, seamlessly blending into the band’s dynamic. Beyond his contributions as a musician, Konstantinos has been present for several hilarious and pivotal moments in Phase’s history, often finding himself in the middle of some of the band’s most memorable moments.

His creative influence extends even further, as he is responsible for the monumental sleek design of Phase.gr that is maintained unchanged for well over 10 years now (a testament to his timeless vision), showcasing his artistic perception and technical skills. Whether through music, design, or the ever-present family joke, Konstantinos remains an integral part of the Phase story.
